Carte Blanche Greetings are the creators of the lovable 'Tatty Teddy' and 'Me to You' brand amongst a whole host of other characters, greetings cards and gift ranges.
As a Graphic Designer for Carte Blanche I work on a whole range of different projects from creating moodboards and concepts for new seasonal ranges (Valentine's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, etc.) to POS, packaging, plush and gift visuals.
It is my job to take the Artists' character artwork and amend the colours and content of their artwork to compliment each seasonal range.
As a Graphic Designer I am responsible for working alongside the Artists, Project Managers and Directors to create seasonal concepts that are then critiqued, refined and then applied to greetings cards, POS, packaging, gift items and plush.
Here is a selection of the plush and gift items I created for the Christening 2011 range for Me to You. The main idea behind this look was to implement a sophisticated aesthetic with the use of high shine silver foiling details and also to create a fresh, crisp and pure feeling with the use of a cool cream and aqua green colour palette.
