Carte Blanche Greetings are the creators of the lovable 'Tatty Teddy' and 'Me to You' brand amongst a whole host of other characters, greetings cards and gift ranges.
As a Graphic Designer for Carte Blanche I work on a whole range of different projects from creating moodboards and concepts for new seasonal ranges (Valentine's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, etc.) to POS, packaging, plush and gift visuals.
It is my job to take the Artists' character artwork and amend the colours and content of their artwork to compliment each seasonal range.
As a Graphic Designer I am responsible for working alongside the Artists, Project Managers and Directors to create seasonal concepts that are then critiqued, refined and then applied to greetings cards, POS, packaging, gift items and plush.
The examples above depict the concept moodboard for the 2010/2011 Male Send look. A worn, aged, slightly nautical aesthetic was explored for this range to help provide a masculine feel to the range. This concept has also be utilised and adapted to provide the basis for the Me to You Father's Day 2011 concept.
