Edith Emilie is an ex RNLI Arun Class Lifeboat. Known across the South coast of the UK and easily distinguishable by her grey hull she is also known as the 'Grey Hull Arun'.

After an extensive career with the RNLI she went on to be used as an experience boat working alongside Red Letter Days offering people the chance to experience what it is like to sail and operate a working Lifeboat.

I was approached by the owners to design and build a promotional website that offered a full history, technical specification and gallery of images to be used as a tool in the private sale of this vessel once her working days had come to an end.

I was also tasked with producing additional promotional media such as business cards and vinyl banners for the Lifeboat as a method of driving traffic towards the website.

The website was an informative tool that gave prospective buyers essential background information before they progressed on to visiting the vessel and taking it out for sea trials.

Edith Emilie was eventually sold to Montrose Port Authority in Scotland where she has undertaken a new role as a Pilot Boat for the port.
